My poll has accumulated about 90 responses. Let's review!
69 (75%) of people are happy with MTG overall and currently play.
15 (16%) of people are unhappy with MTG but play anyway.
5 (5%) of people are unhappy with MTG and have stopped playing because of this.
2 (2%) of people aren't playing for other reasons.
That means 20% of people are actually unhappy with MTG overall! That's actually a pretty high fail rate in my view. It's hard to please everybody, but maybe some of these issues are fixable.
Particularly for those 5% that just stopped playing. Why did you stop? What was the straw that broke the camel's back, as it were?
For the 15% of people that are just unhappy but chugging along anyway, why do you still play? What are you hoping for in the future? If there is no hope, would you stop playing completely? Or do you still have plentiful reasons to keep playing MTG?
